I’m a 29 year old mum of one and the person behind Courtney Captures It, with 150+ weddings captured across the UK and beyond.
After working in so many different venues and seeing just how different every wedding can be, I’ve learnt that there’s no one way to capture a day. I take a documentary approach while you’re actually living it — nothing forced, nothing overly staged, just your day as it happens.
Where I bring my own style in is in the edit. I turn those real moments into cinematic reels that feel like your wedding, not a template. Whether your day is intimate and laid-back, full of energy or somewhere in between, I edit around the atmosphere, the people and the moments that made it yours.

While I focus on real-time, shareable moments with a cinematic flair, photographers and also videographers provide timeless images and videos you’ll cherish forever. The best results? Hiring all three so every angle of your day is beautifully documented.

I focus on capturing hundreds of short clips throughout your day to tell the full story dynamically. I don’t film the ceremony or speeches in full due to sound, storage and device limitations. Instead, I film key moments in sections so you can easily watch them back. If full speeches are important, I can help set up a device on a tripod while I focus on guest reactions and candid moments.
